The social agent, step by step.
Every screen of the social media agent, in the order you meet them: strategy, accounts, what to say to it, planning, images, drafts, scheduling, and what it remembers. Nothing here publishes without your tap.
Start here
The social agent lives inside Grow One as its own workspace. It is a chat with a manager who writes your plan, drafts your posts and asks you what happened this week. You approve every post; nothing goes out on its own.
- Open it. At the top of the chat, tap the Social side of the Grow One / Social switch. The first time you see Meet your Social Agent and one button, Create my strategy. It takes about two minutes and is covered in the next chapter. The agent is part of the Creator plan.
- Two menus, like the rest of the app. ☰ at the top-left is where things live: Chat, Content, Calendar, Library, Videos and Insights. ⋯ at the top-right is how the agent is set up: Social Strategy, Connected accounts, Agent Settings, Agent Memory, Guide and Settings.
- The message bar has three extra buttons. The image button at the bottom-left creates a post with a photo, a library image, a video or an AI image. The calendar-with-a-star button is Plan my content. The mic dictates into the box; with the box empty, the arrow opens Voice mode and you talk to the agent out loud.
- A short tour on your first visit points at each of these. Replay it any time from ⋯→Guide→Replay the tour. The same Guide has Just ask your agent: type "how do I…?" and it answers about its own screens and buttons.
- Empty chat, four shortcuts. Review drafts, Calendar, Analytics and Strategy sit as chips until the conversation starts. Each is one tap or one sentence away.

Your strategy
The strategy is what the agent knows about you: who you are, who you talk to, your voice, your pillars, your posting days and your visual style. It is a document you can edit, section by section, and every post follows the change.
- Answer the setup. Which best describes you: a business or brand, my services (you are the brand), my personal brand, or something else. Then, all optional: paste a summary of your brand from any AI (there is a Copy the prompt button), your website, and 1–3 real posts you wrote per platform so it imitates your length and voice, never your topics.
- Pick your platforms. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and TikTok. Then whether it should draft on its own, where images come from (AI, your photos, both), whether AI images may show people, and your main goal: sales, leads, awareness, visits, a launch, followers, engagement, sponsors.
- Give it your website and two things happen: it detects your brand colors (tap to edit them) and pulls real photos from your site straight into your Library, so your first post is built on one of them.
- Tap Create strategy. Five steps run in the background: reading your brand, building the strategy, locking in the plan, designing your visual style, drafting your first post. You can leave; a notification tells you when it is ready. The limit is two generations per day.
- Read and correct it. ⋯→Social Strategy shows brand colors, visual identity, voice, business overview, competitors, products and services, content pillars, posting schedule, hashtags, research, style guides and Content Ideas & Events. Tap the pencil on any section to change it. The posting schedule's days and times are what Smart Schedule and the agent's proposed slots follow.
- Start over if you must. Regenerate strategy deletes the whole document and opens a blank setup. Your content ideas, library and writing samples survive.

Connect your accounts
Connecting is what lets an approved, scheduled post actually go out. Until then the agent still writes and you still review; publishing simply is not possible. Do it whenever you are ready.
- Open ⋯→Connected accounts, or Settings→Connections→Social accounts. You see a tile per platform in your strategy: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and TikTok, with a counter, "0 of 3 connected".
- Instagram needs a free professional account, Creator for a personal brand or Business for a company. The note on the screen explains it: about 30 seconds in Instagram's settings, nothing changes about how your profile looks, and you can switch back. It unlocks the connection and your post insights.
- Tap Connect. A browser sheet opens on the network's own sign-in. Log in, allow, and a page says the account is connected. Close it; back in the app the tile shows the account. The first connect also reads your past posts for Insights; if there is no history yet, it tells you so.
- Three accounts total across platforms on the Creator plan. At the limit the Connect buttons switch off until you disconnect one. Disconnect from the same screen; the agent stops posting there.
- The chat cannot connect for you. Ask "how do I connect my accounts?" and it points you here. Signing in on a network is always your own tap.

Talk to your agent
The chat does three things: it answers from your real data, it takes direction and starts writing, and, when it has nothing real to work from, it asks you instead of inventing. Nothing it writes leaves Drafts without you.
- Ask. "What's scheduled this week?", "how are my posts doing?", "what's waiting for my approval?" It answers with your numbers and shows the posts as cards you can open.
- Give direction. "Post about Valentine's Day", "make a post about our weekend special", "I have an event on the 28th". It queues the instruction and starts a run within minutes. When the drafts land, the chat says so: "✨ 2 new posts ready in Drafts for review", with the cards. Open the chat to see it; there is no separate notification for these runs.
- When it asks you. The agent creates only from real material: what you tell it, your plans, your ideas and dates. With nothing to work from it creates nothing and posts a card, Your agent is asking, at most once a day. It comes with chips: a topic trending in your space, an upcoming date. Reply with a story, real numbers or a topic, or tap a chip, and drafts follow.
- Set a rule in passing. "Never use emojis in my captions", "always mention free shipping". It confirms with 📌 Rule saved and applies it to everything from then on. "Remember that…" saves a fact it may cite.
- Talk instead of typing. The mic dictates into the box. With the box empty, the arrow opens Voice mode; what you say out loud counts as direction the same way.

Plan my content
The calendar-with-a-star button next to the message bar. You dump what has been happening, unpolished, and choose: one post in your own words, or a short interview that becomes a set of briefs for the agent to write.
- Tap the button and answer "What's been happening?". What you worked on, what you shipped, what a client said. Type it or tap Tap to talk and dictate. Under 300 characters it nudges you, without blocking: a number, a name or a result makes it stronger. Past entries wait under Previous stories for reuse.
- One post. Pick where it goes (all your platforms are pre-selected; the first sets the image size), choose the image, Make one, My product or Use my own, and tap Write the post. Your facts, numbers and order stay; it adds nothing you did not say. The draft appears in the chat.
- Several posts. "A couple of details" asks two to four short questions about things you mentioned; skip any. Build the plan returns briefs, the idea behind each post, not the wording: a platform, a pillar, an image source and a day. Toggle Included or Skipped, pick AI, Mine or Library for the image, then Save N posts. How many depends on your weekly goal in Agent Settings, up to ten.
- What happens next. Nothing is written yet. Each brief is saved with its date under ⋯→Social Strategy→Content Ideas & Events. On its next run near that date the agent writes it in your voice and drops it in Drafts, scheduled on the date if you use Draft + Schedule.
- Dates and themes by hand. The same section has Add: a title, a date or Ongoing, and Promote ahead, which means content in the two weeks before the date rather than only on the day. ✦ Suggest proposes events for your industry over the next six months; keep the ones you want.

Create a post with an image
The image button at the bottom-left of the message bar is how you make a post right now. Describe the post, choose where the picture comes from, pick platforms and size, and a full draft appears in the chat: image, caption per platform, nothing published.
- Type what the post is about in the message bar, then tap the image button. Five options: Take or choose photo, Social Agent library, Social Agent videos, Generate with AI (in your strategy's style and voice) and Generate with a product or person (your real product or face in the scene, one of each at most). Shortcut: a message that starts with "create an image of…" or "create a post about…" opens these options by itself.
- Answer the card. Should the AI write the caption or use your text as written; which platforms (one shared image, a native caption for each); and the image size: Auto picks per platform (4:5 Instagram and Facebook, 1:1 LinkedIn, 16:9 X, 9:16 TikTok), or choose 4:5, 1:1, 9:16 or 16:9 yourself. Tap Create post.
- Wait a moment. The card cycles through painting your image, matching your brand style and writing your caption. Then: "Here's a draft for Instagram 🎉", and a question, Add text to the image?
- Text is a separate layer. The image itself is generated without words. A headline sits on top, so you can rewrite or remove it without a new image, and regenerate the image while the text stays. The editor has Auto-design (it writes the headline from the caption), Add text, Templates, fonts, colors, shapes, and your logo if your strategy has one.
- It is a draft. Find it in ☰→Content→Drafts, edit it, try another version, approve it or delete it. Chapter 8 covers fixing it; chapter 9 covers approving.

Your library, products, people and videos
The Library is where the agent gets real material: photos it can post as they are, and references it learns from but never posts. Products and People are the difference between a generic AI picture and one with the thing you actually sell, or your actual face.
- Four shelves under ☰→Library: Photos, Products, People, Inspo. + Add image takes up to twelve at once. Photos are used as the post image, once, then rest as Used until you tap them back to Available; they are removed from Grow One ten days after they are published. The other three shelves are references: never posted directly, never used up, never auto-deleted.
- Products. When you add several, it asks what you picked: different products, one product from several angles, or a person. Name each product; the name is how you and the agent refer to it. Several angles as one product teach the AI its true shape. Then say "post about the Luna earrings" and the real item appears in the scene.
- People. Two or three photos of yourself or a model, front-facing plus a slight angle, good light, eyes visible in at least one. The face stays exactly as-is; the scene, outfit and pose change per post. Pick one person and one product together for your model wearing your product.
- Inspo. Up to five posts you wish were yours; screenshots are fine. The agent studies the light, composition and mood, never the subjects, and applies that look to your images. Open one to read exactly what it took from it; delete it to remove the lesson.
- Videos. ☰→Videos holds your reels: up to ten, 90 seconds and 300 MB each. Tap one, then Create Post, and a reel draft with a caption waits in Content. The file is removed 24 hours after it publishes; the cover frame stays. The agent does not make video.

Fix a post
No draft is final. Try again asks what should change and keeps every version, so trying is always safe. When the agent itself did not approve a draft, it says why and offers to fix it.
- Open the post and tap Try again. Three choices: The words (a new take, same image), The image (a fresh image, same caption), Something specific…. Takes are kept as chips, Original, Take 1, Take 2; up to three rewrites and four image passes per sitting, then the button reads Start over.
- Something specific. Type the change, "remove the cup", "make it shorter", and say whether it is in the words or in the image. For the image you can draw on the spot with your finger; only the marked area changes. Name a product, "add the Luna earrings", and your real product is added, not a look-alike.
- Edit by hand. The Edit tab has the caption, the hashtags, an AI rewrite box, and the image row: New, Upload, Library, Carousel. Edit text opens the headline layer.
- View as. With more than one platform, the left rail switches between each platform's own caption and preview. To drop one platform from a grouped post, delete that version.
- "Your agent didn't approve this." Some drafts fail the agent's own quality check and carry a Needs a fix chip with the reason. Fix this rewrites the caption around it, Fix the image when the complaint is visual, or edit and approve it anyway.

Review and approve
Everything the agent writes, and everything you create from chat, lands in Drafts. Approve what you like, delete what you don't; it learns from both, per platform. Nothing publishes by itself.
- Open ☰→Content. Two segments: Approved and Drafts, each with a count; sub-pills for All, Images, Reels. Each card shows the image, the first lines of the caption, the platforms, a ★ quality score, and a chip when something needs you: Needs a fix or Publish failed.
- Tap a draft to see it as it would look on each platform (Preview), or change it (Edit). A post made for several platforms is one card; approving or deleting it applies to all its versions.
- Approve moves it to Approved, ready to schedule; in Draft + Schedule mode the button reads Approve & schedule and confirms the proposed day and time first. Delete removes it and records why it missed: the topic, the pillar, the image idea. The agent reads its last rejections before every run.
- To Draft on an approved post sends it back. Unscheduling from the calendar does the same.
- A backlog pauses it. At eight posts waiting, Content warns you; at ten the agent stops creating new ones until you approve, schedule or delete some. A direct instruction in chat still goes through.

Schedule and the calendar
An approved post goes out only when you schedule it, or when you approve a slot the agent proposed. Scheduling needs a connected account; without one the button offers to connect first.
- On an approved post, tap Schedule. Smart Schedule (recommended) takes the next free slot from your strategy's posting days and times, shown as a preview; Pick Date & Time lets you choose; Push Live Now publishes immediately. It warns when that day already has posts.
- Draft + Schedule mode (Agent Settings) means the agent proposes a day and time with every draft. Approve & schedule accepts both in one tap. On your generation day it also posts a Weekly Post Preview in the chat with the week's scheduled posts.
- Watch it in ☰→Calendar: 3 days or 7 days, paged with ‹ ›, filtered by platform. Amber border means scheduled, green means published. It refreshes on its own while open.
- Change your mind. Open the post from the calendar and tap Unschedule; it goes back to Drafts, ready to schedule again.
- If a post fails to publish it returns to Drafts with a Publish failed chip. Open it and approve or schedule it again. A post scheduled to several platforms tells you which ones went through.

Rules, facts and what it remembers
The agent learns two ways: from what you do (approve, edit, delete) and from what you tell it. Everything it keeps is visible under Agent Memory, and anything wrong can be removed in one tap.
- Rules in chat. "Never use hashtags", "always mention free shipping", "on LinkedIn write as an industry expert; on Instagram keep it casual". Each is saved as a standing rule with a 📌 and applied to everything it writes, per platform when you say so. One message can carry several rules.
- Facts in chat. "Remember that packages start at $2,400", "we're opening a second location in October". Facts are the only numbers it will ever cite; without them it writes around specifics and never invents a figure. Up to forty.
- Agent Memory under ⋯→Agent Memory: Standing Rules (delete one and it stops applying), Teach it a fact with question chips, Facts it remembers, Pending Instructions waiting for the next run, Next check, Content queue, Recent Activity, Recent Research (it looks up your industry about weekly) and Agent Notes, the working diary it keeps between runs.
- Instructions at the top of the same screen: About your business, Visual guidance ("real photos, no stock look") and Writing samples, one to three real posts per platform. These are always on.
- It learns from your taste too. Approving, editing and deleting posts, even swapping an AI image for your own photo, shape what it writes next, per platform. No setup needed.

How much it does alone
One screen decides how far the agent goes on its own. Draft is the default, and nothing publishes without you in either mode. Everything here is a tap; there is nothing to configure in chat.
- Agent active. Off pauses all agent work: no runs, no asks, no weekly preview. Existing drafts are kept. Turn it back on when you are ready. The agent otherwise checks in every few hours.
- Autonomy. Draft: it writes posts and puts them in Drafts; you approve or schedule each one. Draft + Schedule: it also suggests a day and time for each post; nothing goes live until you approve it.
- Weekly goal, 1 to 21 posts a week, default 3, is a ceiling: it stops once the week's goal is met. Max per day caps any single day. Content type: Evergreen or Timely (same-day slots). Content source: Grounded, the default, only from your real material, or Autopilot, which may also draw on your strategy's pillars on its own.
- Images: Generate, Library only, or Mixed. Hashtags: Automatic, Minimal (up to three) or None. Content ideas from Notion appears when Notion is connected. Content Mix: how often posts are reels, carousels, carry designed text, use a composition, or promote something ongoing; leave a dial blank for Auto.
- Brand Tags with Strict mode keep image tagging to your own list. Start a new strategy keeps your posts, library and learnings. Reset Social Agent, in the danger zone, wipes everything after a double confirm.
Social agent · Agent Settings
See your results
Once accounts are connected, the agent reads how your posts perform and what people comment. It reads; it never replies for you. The numbers show on one screen and feed the chat.
- Open ☰→Insights. Pick 7, 30 or 90 days, and a platform when you have more than one. Four cards: Reach, Engagement, Followers (up or down), Posts; then Top posts, up to five, with reach and rate. Numbers refresh once a day and right after you connect an account; offline it shows your last synced figures and says so.
- Ask instead. "How are my posts performing?" or the Analytics chip answers from the same data. When a post did well, the agent's next ask may offer another in that vein.
- Comments. The agent collects recent comments on your latest posts and brings them into the chat and the morning briefing when there is something to notice. Ask "what are people saying in the comments?". Replying stays yours, on the network.
